In modern dentistry, when reconstructing teeth with composite materials, preference is given to light fillings, which have many advantages over the classic filling composition. A light filling is more convenient to install, less toxic, resistant to heavy loads, looks more natural, and can even match the color of tooth enamel. However, in order to maintain the result achieved by the specialist and not provoke separation of the composite, the recommendations of the attending physician should be followed. One of the main questions that patients ask is when can they eat after a light tooth filling and are there any dietary restrictions in the future.

Features of light seals

The composition of the light filling, as well as the technique of its installation, differs from other composite materials. The photopolymer contains a mixture of resins, fillers and silanes. This material hardens only under the influence of ultraviolet radiation, which affects the filling technique. To restore the integrity of the crown, the dentist applies the composition in layers, using a special blue lamp after each layer.

Photopolymer fillings have advantages over other types of composites:

  • plasticity of the composition and controlled hardening - the specialist has the opportunity to apply the material without haste, which will avoid the formation of gaps or the creation of an unaesthetic surface of the dental crown;
  • minimal content of toxic substances in the composition - due to the low level of toxins, there are practically no contraindications for the use of the material regarding the health status and age of the patient;
  • simplified final processing - the composite can be easily polished, which makes it possible to create a smooth surface that prevents damage to the enamel of the opposite tooth, tongue and soft tissues;
  • the ability to select an individual shade - the material can be almost identical in color to other teeth;
  • natural shape - the plasticity of the composite allows the specialist to create the shape of a natural crown;
  • service life - if the recommendations are followed, the seal will last at least 5 years.

The light filling has one significant drawback - the composite is not used when lesions are too large, or in hard-to-reach places.

Eating after regular cardio

Many people forget that weight loss occurs not only during training, but in the remaining 23 hours when a person is not exercising. Therefore, the basis of any weight loss is, first of all, diet.

If you maintain a calorie deficit throughout the day, you will lose weight even if you eat right after cardio.

Regular cardio, due to its low power, does not require a large amount of energy before, during and after exercise. Therefore, here you can rely on the feeling of hunger. If you want, eat, if you want, don’t.

When to eat mono after filling?

People who have ever had a filling installed know that you can eat no earlier than two hours later. This time is enough for the material to acquire the required hardness and be well fixed in the tooth crown.

Modern materials differ from classical composites, so the question of whether it is possible to eat after a light filling is relevant. Dentists have different opinions regarding how long after a light filling can be eaten without the risk of damage. Some experts are of the opinion that after a light filling you can eat immediately. This is explained by the properties of photopolymers. The material hardens under the influence of ultraviolet rays, which means that after the procedure is completed, the filling should not be exposed to external influences.

However, the risk is not completely excluded. For complete confidence in the readiness of the material, and most importantly, its reliable fixation in the tooth. For this reason, most experts, when asked “how long not to eat after installing a light filling,” recommend refraining from eating and drinking for at least 2 hours.

Question. After what time can I re-introduce a reduced rate with the same job title?

Answer. The period during which the employer does not have the right to reintroduce a previously reduced position into the staffing table is not established by law.

The employer, taking into account the specifics of the activities and needs of the organization, work technology, demand for manufactured products, plans for further development and other factors, independently determines the structure and number of employees of the organization. That is, if necessary, the employer has the right at any time to make changes to the staffing table, entailing both a decrease in the number of positions (specialties, professions) or staff units required by the employer, and an increase in them.

In paragraph 10 of the Resolution of the Plenum of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation dated March 17, 2004 N 2 “On the application by the courts of the Russian Federation of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation” it is stated that, according to Art. 8, part 1 art. 34, parts 1 and 2 art. 35 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and paragraph. 2 hours 1 tbsp. 22 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, for the purpose of effective economic activity and rational property management, the employer independently, under his own responsibility, makes the necessary personnel decisions: selects, places, and dismisses personnel. That is, if an employer once decides to reduce the number (staff), then later, when he needs additional labor, he can reintroduce positions (specialties, professions) or staffing units that were previously excluded from it into the staffing table. The legislation does not establish a limiting period, before the expiration of which the employer does not have the right to introduce a previously reduced position into the staffing table.

The employer decides which of the applicants to transfer to a vacant position in the event of a reduction in staff at its own discretion (Appeal ruling of the Voronezh Regional Court dated March 28, 2019 N 33-1371/2019).

It should be borne in mind that dismissal due to a reduction in the number (staff) of employees cannot be used solely as a way to get rid of employees unwanted by the employer.

Thus, the Determination of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation dated December 17, 2008 N 1087-О-О indicates that termination of an employment contract on the basis of clause 2 of part 1 of Art. 81 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation is recognized as legal provided that a reduction in the number or staff of employees actually took place (clause 2.3). The court also draws attention to the fact that it is impossible to completely exclude the possibility of abuse of rights on the part of an employer who uses a reduction in staff to fire a specific person. The validity of a reduction in the number or staff of employees is established, as a rule, by comparing the previous and new editions of the staffing table, but is not limited to this.

In the event of a dispute, the employer must prove that the change in the staffing table was caused by any objective economic, technical, organizational or other factors.

The introduction of an abolished position into the staffing table and the hiring of a new employee for this position a short period of time after the dismissal of the previous employee, in our opinion, may indicate that a reduction in the number or staff actually did not occur. In our opinion, even if the newly hired employee holds a different position, but performs a labor function similar to the labor function of the dismissed employee, termination of the employment contract under clause 2 of part 1 of Art. 81 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation may be considered illegal.

The period for an employee to go to court to appeal against dismissal is one month from the date of delivery of a copy of the dismissal order, or from the date of issue of the work book, or from the date of provision to him in connection with the dismissal of information about his work activity with the employer at his last place of work (Part 1 of Art. 392 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation).

It should be noted that in 2022 there will be a transition to maintaining information about an employee’s work activity in electronic form (electronic work books). Until 10/31/2020 inclusive, employers were required to notify employees of the right to refuse to maintain a paper work record book. Employees must submit a corresponding application until 2022 (Article 66.1 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, clause 4, part 1, part 2, article 2 of the Federal Law of December 16, 2019 N 439-FZ, clause 2 of the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of June 19, 2020 N 887).

If an employee refuses to keep a work record book on paper, upon dismissal he is provided with information about his work activity with this employer (part 4, 6 of article 84.1 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, clause 1.1 of the Procedure for filling out the form “Information about work activity provided to the employee by the employer ( STD-R)" and the form "Information on labor activity provided from the information resources of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation (STD-PFR)", approved by Order of the Ministry of Labor of Russia dated January 20, 2020 N 23n).

This period can be restored by the court based on the totality of all the circumstances that did not allow the person to timely apply to the court for protection of violated labor rights (clause 10 of the Review of Judicial Practice of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation No. 2 (2019), approved by the Presidium of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation on 17.07 .2019).

Moreover, since a dismissed employee can learn about the reinstatement of the position he previously occupied in the staff list only after the expiration of the specified period, and since only the court establishes circumstances indicating a violation of the rights of this employee, which he did not know and could not know about at the time handing him a copy of the dismissal order or issuing a work book, the court, considering in accordance with Part 4 of Art. 392 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the corresponding petition does not have the right to refuse to restore the missed procedural period without examining the factual circumstances of the case, which may serve as the basis for such restoration (clause 2.3 of the Determination of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation of December 17, 2008 N 1087-О-О).

What products should you be careful with?

How soon can you eat after installing a reflective filling? There is no definite answer. But regarding the food consumed, experts agree. Thus, it is recommended to exclude coloring products for 2–3 days after a light filling. Ingestion of foods, including drinks, containing dyes may affect the color of the composite, since the filling is still highly permeable.

After restoring teeth with a light filling, it is better to avoid the following foods for at least two days:

  • coffee;
  • beet;
  • carrot;
  • blueberry;
  • carbonated drinks;
  • chocolate and cocoa.

In small quantities you can use:

  • black tea;
  • strawberry;
  • cherries;
  • natural juices.

Dentists pay special attention not only to when and what not to eat with a light filling, but also to the temperature of the food eaten. You should not eat too hot or cold foods, or eat them one after another or together. The temperature contrast can lead not only to damage to the filling, but also to damage to the tissues of a healthy and diseased tooth.

Food before workout

Often people deliberately do not eat not only after training, but also before, so as not to interfere with fat oxidation. These fears are not justified.

Research shows that carbohydrates during intense cardio (interval training, HIIT, etc.) have no effect on fat oxidation. Of course, low-intensity workouts (light jogging, brisk walking, cycling or stationary cycling) will be affected, but such workouts usually do not require additional energy, are low-energy in themselves, and can even be done on an empty stomach.

Moreover, carbs before an intense workout can indirectly help with fat loss - simply by allowing you to work harder, longer, and harder. As a result, you burn more calories per workout than if you could barely move from weakness and hunger.

From a weight loss point of view, the ability to train at full strength is much more important than the additional calorie expenditure due to skipping meals, especially since it is very small.

The same applies to strength training while losing weight. The ability to train hard, intensely always takes precedence over the ability to burn a few extra calories. Moreover, strength training does not consume many calories - during the workout, a person rests in total more than he trains.

The goal of strength training during weight loss is not so much to burn calories as to protect your muscles while on a diet. Spending calories is just a bonus, not a goal.

What complications can there be?

After the light reflection filling is installed, how long before you can eat? Our clinic specialists advise patients to abstain from food for 2 hours and from drinking for 1 hour. Such recommendations are not mandatory, but they can reduce the risk of complications after filling.

If the recommended time interval is not observed, complications may arise:

  • rapid darkening of tooth enamel;
  • staining of enamel (under the influence of dyes);
  • It's a dull pain;
  • swelling of the gums;
  • crown destruction;
  • filling falling out.

Also, in the first days after filling, patients should avoid eating any foods with increased hardness. In particular, it is not advisable to chew seeds, nuts or objects (for example, a pencil or pen).

How to eat after a workout

After strength and intense training, an anabolic, or carbohydrate, window opens in the human body: a deficiency of proteins and carbohydrates occurs. This can be corrected by quickly eating healthy foods.

The average duration of the carbohydrate window is 30–90 minutes, it is advisable to eat during this period of time. This will help restore and prevent further muscle breakdown, and the body will burn its own fat reserves. It is imperative to consume easily digestible proteins and carbohydrates, but a snack in the form of healthy fats, such as nuts, is also allowed.

If the seal falls out or is damaged

If there is any deformation of the light filling, no action should be taken without first consulting a doctor. If it is not possible to visit the clinic, you can get a consultation by phone. But at the first opportunity, go to the dentist.

If there is a filling, it is important to prevent food particles from entering the tooth cavity. This can lead to inflammation and even the rapid development of a purulent process.

To summarize, we can conclude: eating after filling with photopolymers is acceptable, but with extreme caution. If the patient does not have a strong need for food, it is recommended to eat after 2 hours. Thus, the risks of complications are minimized.

Eating food

The period of time during which you cannot eat after tooth extraction depends on the individual characteristics of the patient and the complexity of the operation performed. Most often, a couple of hours after removal, specialists allow you to eat something liquid. Dairy products, such as yogurt or kefir, are good for this. Thanks to such food, the body will quickly be satisfied, and the site of tooth extraction will not be damaged. During your first meal, you should not eat chips, crackers or deep-fried meat. Such hard food will greatly damage the cavity.

Is drinking alcohol allowed if a tooth has been pulled out?

The opinion that alcohol contains ethyl alcohol, which can disinfect a wound, and therefore its use is indicated after extraction, is erroneous. You can drink alcohol only 10 days after tooth extraction

, when a blood clot has already formed and periodontal tissue has begun to recover.

Drinking alcohol can cause severe bleeding; it thins the blood and prevents the formation of a blood clot. Even small doses of ethyl alcohol lead to an increase in blood pressure, which, coupled with the effects of some anesthetics, provokes the development of heart disease.

A non-alcoholic diet is also indicated for the reason that after tooth extraction a cyst may form, and you will need to take antibiotics, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and antihistamines, and they are incompatible with ethanol. The excretory and cardiovascular systems suffer especially strongly from this combination.

After extraction, you should not drink beer. The concentration of ethanol in it is small, but it contains brewer's yeast, which is an excellent breeding ground for pathogenic microorganisms.

How long before you can go on vacation at your new job?

According to Part 1 of Art.
115 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, a working citizen is entitled to annual rest, the duration of which is 28 days when working under normal conditions. The order of going on vacation at an enterprise is regulated by a special document called a vacation schedule. FOR REFERENCE: the schedule must be signed by the company's management at least 14 days before the start of the new year. According to Art. 123 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, it is mandatory for both management and employees.

The time of annual rest according to the schedule can be determined for any period of the year, taking into account the specifics of production processes. However, if a citizen has recently found a job, then he is subject to the exceptions specified in Art. 122 Labor Code of the Russian Federation.

When is leave due after getting a job? The right to rest appears only after 6 months. At the same time, the length of service required to qualify for a 28-day vacation must be continuous.

Issues of including certain periods in continuous service are regulated by Art. 121 Labor Code of the Russian Federation. Experience includes:

  • working hours, weekends and holidays;
  • time of forced absence;
  • periods when the employee was on leave without pay, but not more than 14 days annually.
