Dental prosthetics at home

CALLING A PROTHETIST AT YOUR HOME If you have a desire to make a high-quality removable denture, CALL!!! Phone: 8 (926) 545-84-72 – Roman Sergeevich (prosthetist at home).

Dental prosthetics or making dentures at home in Moscow and the Moscow region has recently become quite popular. A dentist (prosthetist) will visit you at a time convenient for you to carry out the necessary prosthetic procedures at home. Despite the complexity of dental procedures, absolutely anyone can have teeth inserted at home. Making removable dentures at home has become especially popular. In some cases, metal-ceramic crowns and bridges can be inserted at home!

A little bit about yourself. I began my journey in dental prosthetics at home in Moscow in 2009. At that time, I worked in a city dental clinic and made dentures at home for disabled people.

As my personal experience has shown, dental prosthetics at home is mainly required by people who, for whatever reason, find it difficult to move independently. However, some patients find it more convenient to have their teeth inserted at home.

Experience. During my medical career since 2005, I have manufactured about 5,000 removable dentures. I gained my experience in dental prosthetics while working in a city dental clinic. In a private dental clinic I would never have made such a number of dentures in my entire life. We can say that making removable dentures is my strong point.

Making removable dentures at home is one of the most complex dental procedures. Therefore, many doctors are simply afraid (especially beginners) and do not know how to make removable dentures with high quality, especially when it comes to making dentures at home.

How does dental prosthetics work at home? All dental prosthetics at home can be divided into four visits (sometimes more are required! It all depends on the complexity!).

During your first visit to dental prosthetics at home, the doctor takes impressions. All dentures are made individually for each patient, and no two dentures are alike. So, it will not be possible to install someone else’s prosthesis.

On the second

stage of prosthetics, impressions are taken with an individual impression tray, which will give the future denture an absolutely precise fit to the oral mucosa, and the prosthesis will be well maintained. Also, during the second visit, the bite is determined and the color, shape, and size of future teeth are selected. An important aspect in choosing artificial teeth is the country of origin, which is also discussed with the patient at home.

On the third visit, the final fitting of the removable denture is performed, the bite, shape and color of the teeth and some other parameters are assessed.

On the fourth visit, the doctor comes to your home to hand over your dentures. Minor adjustments to the prosthesis are sometimes required at this visit. Subsequently, the patient begins to get used to using the prosthesis. This period lasts approximately one to four weeks.

Very important to know !!! When using a denture, it may cause excessive pressure, rub the oral mucosa, and a rash may appear. In this case, you should not panic. You need to call a prosthetist at home to correct the prosthesis (sharpen the prosthesis a little). This concludes your at-home dental prosthetics.

WITHOUT PAIN

Orthopedic dentist Oleg Aleksandrovich Puga (practical experience in prosthetics for more than 20 years)

My name is Oleg Aleksandrovich Puga, I am a dentist-orthopedist-surgeon-implantologist. My practical experience is more than 20 years, and all these years I have been working in “No Pain” dentistry. I undertake prosthetics for elderly patients with cardiovascular diseases and diabetes. Patient anxiety will be minimal. Elderly people and disabled people often do not have the opportunity to visit a dentist in a clinic. Until recently, high-quality treatment, tooth extraction and prosthetics were not available to this category of citizens. But modern technologies make it possible to carry out the complex process of prosthetics outside the dental office! Our “No Pain” dentistry offers dental prosthetics at home.

Reviews from our patients

Oleg Alexandrovich, we thank you very much for your attention and patience to our elderly father, you helped us a lot with his teeth and your patient, encouraging communication - after all, he is so difficult for us, due to his age, inactivity, character. Let there be more such doctors!

Calling a dentist to your home under compulsory medical insurance is quite difficult; first you need to go to a therapist at a regular clinic, collect a bunch of certificates of disability, then tests, examinations, etc. Then, you find out that under compulsory medical insurance, free prosthetics are possible only for a certain group of the population, and again , with huge red tape. As a result, prosthetics in the clinic turns out to be paid, only with big problems... We turned to Oleg Alexandrovich for a fee, everything went so quickly, simply and not much more expensive than in state dentistry. Oleg Alexandrovich has a special approach to older people, he immediately finds contact and a common language, such a sincere and reliable person is a rarity. Thank you very much for your work!

Afanasiev, 04/10/2018

Leontyevs, 10/15/2017

We have an old grandfather, 85 years old, he practically doesn’t walk, he has no teeth, it’s hard to take him to the dentist, he’s overweight, it’s hard for him to refuse, he turned to Oleg Alexandrovich, he came home with equipment, he even removed several rotten teeth, it took 4 calls, grandfather with teeth chews satisfied, a little more expensive than in dentistry, BUT REALLY CONVENIENT!!!

Features of prosthetics in one day

One-day prosthetics is another name for the one-step implantation technique; it is often called express implantation or express prosthetics. This method involves accelerated installation of the prosthesis, which greatly reduces discomfort and loss of time.

The implant is implanted immediately after the removal of the diseased tooth into the socket vacated by it, avoiding incisions and other surgical procedures. As a result:

  • surgical intervention is minimized;
  • the invasiveness of the procedure is reduced;
  • discomfort and pain are reduced;
  • the risk of infection and subsequent inflammation is reduced;
  • the risk of implant rejection is reduced;
  • the healing and rehabilitation process is accelerated.

And the most important thing is that you can use the dentures on the same day.

However, despite the name, you should not expect that you will get new teeth in just one visit to the clinic.

Permanent prostheses are installed only after the process of osseointegration, that is, the fusion of the implant with the bone.

This means that you will only receive permanent crowns after six months, and possibly longer, depending on how the healing progresses.

Moreover, all this time it is necessary to regularly visit the dentist in order to monitor the recovery process and identify possible complications in time.

The procedure is carried out in several stages:

  • consultation and examination;
  • diagnostics and selection of implant;
  • dental treatment if required;
  • sanitation of the oral cavity;
  • removal of the diseased tooth and implantation of a titanium pin;
  • installation of temporary crowns;
  • rehabilitation and regular preventive examinations;
  • installation of permanent crowns.

To shorten the waiting period, speed up the process of osseointegration and reduce the risk of rejection, it is important to comply with all requirements for hygiene, care, and nutrition.

Advantages of the method

And yet, 1-day prosthetics remains the most convenient and practical option for restoring lost teeth. The temporary crown can be used the same day it is placed, which means you won't have to stop eating or have any major restrictions on your daily life.

In addition, after the simultaneous implantation procedure, there is practically no pain, since no incision was made in the tissues and no bone was drilled; installation is carried out in a natural hole.

Thanks to the features of the technology, it has many advantages:

  • minimum pain and discomfort during the procedure;
  • shorter adaptation period;
  • possibility of using prostheses on the day of installation;
  • a uniform load on the bone tissue is ensured, thereby eliminating its atrophy or deformation;
  • allows you to restore several teeth at once in a short time;
  • absence of pain during the healing period; if necessary, pain can be easily relieved with medications;
  • lack of complex care;
  • natural and attractive appearance of finished dentures;
  • strength and reliability of structures, their durability.

Dentistry "President" invites you to perform dental prosthetics in 1 day in Moscow. You can see prices and examples of work on the website.
